Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Virtual Notary Now, we respect your time and are committed to delivering efficient and dependable online notary services. To maintain smooth operations and effectively serve all clients, we have implemented the following cancellation and refund policy.

Appointments

Appointment Deposit:
When scheduling your notary appointment, a deposit of $25 is required to secure your desired time slot. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your notary service upon completion. The deposit can be paid when booking your service, and the appointment will be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit.

Cancellations & No Shows 

Cancellations & No Shows:

Notification of Cancellation: If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, we kindly request that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another client who may be in need of our services. You can contact us via phone at 786-743-9301 or email at VirtualNotaryNow@gmail.com.

No Shows: A "no show" occurs when the signer fails to show up for a scheduled appointment without prior notification or cancels with less than 24 hours notice. In such cases, the appointment deposit is forfeited for the first occurrence of a no-show or less than 24 hour cancellation. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, therefore, we will send you a reminder about the missed appointment and provide an opportunity to reschedule.

Refunds

Refund Eligibility:
Notary services are typically non-refundable once they have been completed, due to the nature of the work. This policy applies to all finalized notarizations and executed notary acts. Refund requests will only be considered for prepaid services that have not yet been provided or performed.

Refundable Situations:
1) **Appointment Cancellation Policy**: Payments made in advance are refundable if you cancel your appointment with at least 24 hours' notice, excluding the non-refundable deposit.  

2) **Service Unavailability Refund**: In the rare event that we are unable to complete your notary service due to unforeseen circumstances or issues on our end, we will provide a full refund, including the non-refundable deposit.

Refund Inquiry:
To request a refund, please email us at VirtualNotaryNow@gmail.com within 3 days of the original payment date. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method. Please allow adequate processing time for the refund to appear in your account, as processing times may vary based on your financial institution.
